While at college, I lived near the Smoky Mountains. During the four years I was there, I had the chance to get out and see the mountains, although not nearly as much as I would have liked to, school tends to get in the way of those plans.
Here's John after one of our trips kayaking. In this case, we went to the Pigeon River, about an hour from Knoxville. We went several other times, but getting pictures is kind of hard since I don't have a waterproof camera.
This is at Ozone Falls in Tennessee. It really is a strange feeling to walk over the side of a cliff. If you ever get the chance, you really should try it. This is called Aussie style. Much more exciting than the normal way.
Here I am half way down the Ozone Falls' rapel. This is the the traditional way of rapelling.

This is the end of my Aussie style. If you go fast, it feels like you are free falling and the ground gets close real fast. Much fun.
Mike (Julia's brother) and me wrestling in the water for the boat at Julia's lake.
Look at me, I broke the bridge and almost fell in. Well, not really, it was like that when we got there.
Travis (right) and me (left) went hiking up in the Smokies.
